Our hugely popular Bear Club for one to two year olds is open daily from 8am – 4pm with an option to remain until 5pm. The children thrive in a welcoming, inclusive, safe and engaging environment where the highly qualified and experienced staff make play and learning fun.
Our Bear Club offers:
- A well planned learning environment offering exciting opportunities for children to develop their own play and independent exploration.
- A variety of messy play activities that engage children’s senses, develop and practice their fine motor skills as well as their hand-eye coordination in preparation for their writing in the future, a water and sand play.
- Puppet shows, hands on learning, music sessions throughout the day where children are introduced to different styles of music.
- Fun filled activities such as painting on different textures and with different tools, constructions, play-dough, role play.
- A wide variety of play equipment including a soft play area, balls, slide with climbing frame and ride-on toys.
- Access to a large garden for playing, planting and experimenting in the mud kitchen.
- An opportunity for children to engage with other children of a similar age.
- A sleep area for those remaining for the whole day.
- Flexible sessions for those wishing to enrol their child on a part time basis.
Parents drop off and pick up their children from the classroom so that they can chat to staff. There are also three parent teacher meetings each year to discuss progress.
